Terms & Conditions
TERMS OF PURCHASE (ONLINE)
Effective date: 20th October, 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Purchase apply to online purchases made through offers sold under either of the following registered business names:
- The Golden Goose® — business, brand repositioning and advisory services.
- The Samara Co. — self-development and spiritual offerings.
Both business names operate under the same sole-trader business structure and ABN: 68714837842.
The relevant business for your purchase will be identified on the product or sales page and your invoice.
By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Purchase and the offer details displayed at the time of purchase.
2. Your purchase and inclusions
The specific product or service you purchase, its price, inclusions, delivery method and any relevant timeframes will be described on the applicable sales page and/or confirmed in your purchase documentation or invoice.
These details form part of your purchase agreement.
Please review the offer information carefully before purchasing. If you are unsure about an inclusion or requirement, contact the relevant business before completing your purchase.
3. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment method and arrangements specified at checkout.
Where an invoice is issued, payment is due by the date stated on that invoice.
Access to, or delivery of, a product or service may be withheld while payment remains outstanding.
You are responsible for ensuring that your payment and contact details are accurate.
4. Purchase confirmation and onboarding
After purchasing, you may be redirected to a confirmation or thank-you page containing instructions, resources or a questionnaire.
Depending on the offer, you may be required to complete a questionnaire or provide information before work can begin.
You are responsible for submitting the required information accurately and within any stated timeframe. Delays in providing required information may delay delivery.
Where a product or service includes personalised work, the work will be based on the information you provide.
5. Delivery and access
Digital products, questionnaires, written materials, recordings, personalised feedback and other deliverables may be provided through email, a download page, Google Docs, cloud storage or another nominated platform.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring you can access the relevant delivery platform.
You should download and securely store any deliverables you wish to retain.
Where access or delivery timeframes are specified on the sales page, invoice or in the offer description, those timeframes apply, subject to your non-excludable legal rights.
We are not responsible for access issues caused by your own device, internet connection, email settings or third-party services, although we will reasonably assist with delivery issues within our control.
6. Intellectual property
All intellectual property remains owned by the relevant business or its licensors unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
This includes, without limitation:
- Questionnaires and assessment tools.
- Frameworks, methods, processes and proprietary models.
- Written materials, templates and educational resources.
- Brand strategy tools and methodologies.
- Recordings, reports, analyses and other original materials.
- The structure, wording and design of our products and resources.
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials supplied to you for your own personal use or, where relevant, within your own business.
You must not, without prior written permission:
- Copy, reproduce, publish, distribute or sell our materials.
- Share paid resources with other people who have not purchased them.
- Resell, sublicense or commercially distribute our materials.
- Republish our questionnaires or use them to create or support a competing product or assessment.
- Represent our frameworks, materials or original work as your own.
- Use our materials to develop, train or supply a competing service or product.
These restrictions do not prevent you from using your own pre-existing intellectual property or your general skills and knowledge, nor do they override rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
7. Proprietary questionnaires
Our questionnaires, assessment tools and associated materials are proprietary intellectual property.
You may complete a questionnaire supplied to you as part of your purchase and return your responses to us for the purpose of delivering your purchased service.
You must not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, share or repurpose the questionnaire itself, or use it to create a competing assessment, framework or product, without our prior written permission.
You retain ownership of the original information and responses you provide, subject to any rights granted to us under these terms or our Privacy Policy.
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy:
THE GOLDEN GOOSE (business & brand) https://thegoldengoose.com.au/privacy-policy/
THE SAMARA CO (spiritual & self dev) https://leahsamara.com/privacy-policy
8. Personalised feedback and question periods
Where your purchase includes personalised feedback, the specific deliverables will be described in the applicable offer information and/or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated in the offer:
- Download period: You have seven calendar days from our email notifying you that your completed deliverables are available to download.
- Question period: Where questions are included in your purchase, you have seven calendar days from our email delivering your feedback to submit your questions by email.
- Submission method: Questions must be submitted to the relevant business’s designated email address.
Any questions must relate to the deliverables provided under your purchase. Additional consulting, new work, further analysis or ongoing support is not included unless expressly stated in the offer.
If you experience a genuine technical issue that prevents access or submission, contact us promptly so we can reasonably assist.
These timeframes do not exclude or limit any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
9. Refunds and cancellations
Please review the offer details carefully before purchasing.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, a change in personal circumstances, failure to participate, failure to complete a questionnaire, failure to use or download a product, or a decision not to proceed with the purchased service.
However, nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
Where you are legally entitled to a refund, replacement, cancellation or other remedy, those rights will be respected.
If you believe there is a problem with your purchase, contact the relevant business so we can assess the issue and work towards an appropriate resolution.
10. No guaranteed outcomes
Our products and services provide information, frameworks, strategy, advisory, education and/or personalised insights, depending on the offer purchased.
We do not guarantee any particular financial, business, professional, personal, spiritual or other outcome.
Your results depend on many factors, including your circumstances, decisions, implementation and actions, which are outside our control.
You remain responsible for deciding how to apply any information or recommendations provided.
Nothing in this section excludes any guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information where reasonably required.
- Ensure you have the right to share any information or materials you submit.
- Keep your login details, downloads and paid materials secure.
- Use purchased materials only within the permitted licence.
- Communicate respectfully and comply with reasonable instructions necessary to deliver the service.
You are responsible for your own decisions and implementation.
12. Confidentiality and privacy
We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You should not submit confidential information about another person unless you have the authority to do so.
Where a service involves personalised information or feedback, we will take reasonable steps to handle that information appropriately, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to offers and delivery
We may update, improve, discontinue or change our products and services from time to time.
Changes to an offer will not automatically alter the material inclusions of a purchase already made. Where a change materially affects an existing purchase, we will address it in accordance with the purchase agreement and applicable law.
14. Breach of terms
If you materially breach these terms, including by unlawfully copying, distributing or misusing our intellectual property, we may take reasonable steps to protect our rights.
Where appropriate, this may include suspending access to affected materials, requesting that the breach stop or pursuing remedies available under law.
Nothing in this section permits us to disregard your non-excludable consumer rights.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from your misuse of materials, failure to follow instructions, decisions made using general information, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
16. International purchases
Our products and services may be available to customers outside Australia.
You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase and use of the product or service comply with laws applicable to you, where relevant.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other laws that apply to your transaction.
17. Separate coaching and consulting agreements
Some higher-touch coaching, consulting or advisory services may require a separate written agreement.
Where a separate agreement applies, it will govern the additional terms of that service. If there is an inconsistency, the separate agreement will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency, subject to applicable law.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Purchase from time to time. The version applicable to your purchase is the version in effect when you purchased, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.
19. Contact
Please contact the business identified on your product page or invoice.
